Uggghhh… Not feelin’ it today.
I just don’t have it in me to be verbose tonight. The kids have sucked the soul right out of me today, my house is a disaster, and I have tons of studying to do. Not to mention that I bought some computer speakers so that I could enjoy Pandora while I was studying/cleaning tonight only to get home to find out that the friggin’ 9V adaptor that’s supposed to come with them wasn’t in the box. Shit. That was the last straw. Luckily, I’m just too damn tired to shake the kids violently (that’s only a joke for those of you reaching for the phone to call CPS…). It’s 10 pm and I’m brewing coffee as we speak.
On the bright side, I’ve added another enjoyable activity on my to-do list. I found a compilation of science-based writing that any science enthusiast should read and most of them are available online. I think the Mr. Zimmer was avoiding books and research papers which actually makes the list more readable for me since my time is slim to none. We’ll see how many I can actually get through.
